Announcing the Proven Winners Garden Gurus!

And I'm one of them!

Proven Winners Picasso and Diamond Frost Euphorbia

If you have been following my blog for any period of time, you know that I love to share my passion for gardening. While I’ve never thought of myself as a guru, I do love to write and talk about what we’re growing, and I love to learn from other gardeners just as much. So I am honored and excited to be joining an outstanding team of gardeners, writers, and all-around amazing people as the Proven Winners garden gurus! I first became involved with the friendly and knowledgeable folks at Proven Winners last spring, when I participated in the Proven Winners Outdoor Living Extravaganza in Atlanta, Georgia. If you have the chance to go to this event next spring, you should do it! You can learn all about the 2012 venues and agendas right here. Each agenda is always jam-packed with top gardening speakers, lots of giveaways, and a delicious catered lunch. I especially enjoyed meeting friends that I had been tweeting, blogging and Facebooking with.

Proven Winners is really committed to educating its customers, and the PW web site provides gardeners with a wealth of information and ideas. I love their simple, elegant designs for container gardens and their detailed online catalog, which makes selecting and buying the right plants for your garden a breeze. The PW team is always looking for ways to make the web site even more fun, interesting and useful to gardeners, and that is where the Garden Gurus come in! We will each be blogging about our own gardens and our experiences with growing Proven Winners plants. Like all gardeners, I’m already planning and plotting what I’m going to be planting this spring, and I feel like a kid in a candy store when I pore through the Proven Winners catalog.

I hope you will click on over to the PW web site and check out my blog, as well as the musings of my fellow garden gurus! Here are the links to their personal blogs. I’m looking forward to getting to know them all right along with you!
