November 18, 2012 update: Congratulations to the winner of our holiday centerpiece contest, Ms. Reba Smeltzer! Thanks so much to everyone that participated, and don’t forget to follow us for more great holiday giveaways and to check P. Allen Smith’s web site for more chances to win!
One of the highlights of this year was my visit to Moss Mountain Farm, the gorgeous garden home of P. Allen Smith. His second annual Garden2Blog event brought together 20 garden communicators and fabulous home and garden sponsors who generously shared their knowledge and their latest products with us. Touring Moss Mountain Farm is a gardener’s dream, and the friendships that I made at Garden2Blog continue to blossom and grow.
Allen’s home and garden are inspirational, and no detail is overlooked. Allen is every bit as charming in person as he is in print and on television, and his phenomenal team made us feel welcome and comfortable every minute of our visit.
I am really excited to be able to offer you a chance to deck your halls this holiday season with a taste of Moss Mountain Farm style. Allen teamed up with the wonderful folks at Berry Family of Nurseries to design some of the most beautiful holiday wreaths and centerpieces available. You may view the entire holiday collection on Allen’s garden home site. Each arrangement complements a variety of home styles, from country cottage to urban condo. I have selected a beautiful centerpiece from the new Chocolate & Spice Collection to grace the table of a lucky winner! I think the combination of noble fir, pinecones, berry ornaments and a beautiful chocolate satin ribbon will be a memorable addition to your family’s dining room table this holiday season. Isn’t it gorgeous?
Here’s how to enter to win this beautiful holiday centerpiece: Visit P. Allen Smith’s Facebook page and “Like” it. Then just subscribe to my site via RSS feed or e-mail. If you already subscribe to my site, you may still enter the contest. Just leave me a note to let me know you’ve visited Allen’s Facebook page. I’ll announce the winner here on Sunday, November 18, and the centerpiece will be shipped directly to the winner. Thanks so much to Allen and his team for generously sponsoring this holiday giveaway. Good luck and happy holidays!

I would love my name on that !!!!
Terrific blog & pictures are beautiful!
Oh, gee. I need to leave another comment. Missed the name of the Cottage Farm, Cowlick. When I was growing up in the country, a cowlick was somebody’s hair sticking up, usually one of my brothers’. Sometimes my father would run out of the treatment to keep his hair in place and would complain about it himself. It was called that because if you could get a cow to lick it, you wouldn’t have it sticking up. <3
I went and checked out his website. I love the ideas he has on his site and I will be going to the site often for ideas and just so I didn’t miss anything I subscribed to his email newsletter. Thanks
Deanna
Every day, I scroll my comments, to find the name P.Allen Smith. I have lived my entire life loving gardening and decorating. I am now older, handicapped, and can only put up a table-top small tree this year. But, this gorgeous centerpiece would add so much to my Christmas dining table. I love your website year around. Look forward to your huge field of daffodils this spring and the wonderfully large spreading tree.
I would love to display this beautiful gift from God all year round!!!!! Every season has its beauty, but there is something in more depth of love and appreciation of nature during this holiday season. Thank you for your great ideas and special talent to share!

Carolyn, Fresh greenery at the holidays makes Christmas all the more special to me. What a beautiful collection Allen has this year.
This season especially makes me yearn for that chocolate. Chris Kimball sent me a chocolote cake recipe that will make you feel you are in heaven. I love to make crafts with natural things – love flower arrangements. The aroma they leave is soothing, even comforting and of course, welcoming. Life’s best gifts are the ones from God.
